Lents grown

Things are looking really good at the plot at the Lents Community Garden, in Portland. We expanded to a 20’ x 20’ parcel this year, and as of early June are seeing a very robust assortment of potatoes, garlic, fava, and many different salad and braising greens. We are particularly excited about the drip irrigation system we installed this year, which saves a lot of time and natural resources.

Wood for this planter box was salvaged from our neighbor’s old front deck.
